Early Life: Deepika Amin Bio
Deepika Amin was born in Mumbai, Maharashtra and in a Hindu family. Her paternal grandfather was the Sahitya Akademi Award-winning Marathi poet Atmaram Ravaji Deshpande. Her paternal grandmother’s name is Kusumavati Deshpande, was a writer of Marathi literature and professor of English Literature at Nagpur University.
His father, Ulhas Deshpande, was an Air Wise Marshal in the Indian Air Force. His mother Chhama Deshpande is a student of Kathak dancer and Kathak player Gopi Krishna. She grew up in Delhi, attended Loreto Convent School and studied Artillery at Lady Shri Ram College for Women, the University of Delhi, she lives in Mumbai with her husband and son
