Early Life: Pooja Banerjee Bio
She is from a Bengali Hindu family, and she spent her lovely childhood in Nagpur, Maharashtra. She completed her schooling at Centre point school and college from Hislop College, Nagpur. She completed her graduation with a Bachelor of Commerce and a post-graduation in Master in English literature.

Initial career (2011 to 2016)
Banerjee began her acting journey in the year 2011, participating in the tv show MTV Roadies season 8. Her 1st fiction show came in the year 2012, titled Ek Doosre Se Karte Hain Pyaar Hum on Star Plus, in which she played the lead character of Tejal Majumdar.
In the year 2013, she was featured in the fantasy show The Adventures of Hatim on the tv channel Life OK in the role of Perizaad. That year Banerjee worked in Sahara One show named Ghar Aaja Pardesi in the character of Rudraani. After that, she went on to be a contestant in the first season of Box Cricket League and features as Rewa Mathur in Channel V’s youth drama Swim Team.
Establishment as Lead Actress
In the year 2016, she found her first break in the role of Noorie Shastri opposite Pearl V Puri in the tv channel Life OK drama show Nagarjuna. In the year 2017, she was featured as a supporting character as the antagonistic Vishakha in Chandra Nandini and as Suryakanta in the drama Chandrakanta.
She next backed to reality tv as a contestant in the fourth season of Box Cricket League and was appear in June 2018 to portray Aarohi Verma in the romance titled Dil Hi Toh Hai, a character that she later reprised in season 2 that was streamed directly on Alt Balaji.
In September 2018, Banerjee featured as the stylish yet married Nivedita Basu in the show Kasautii Zindagii Kay, which ended after a successful 2 years run in the year 2020. From 2018 -20, she was also seen as Bani Mehra in the web series named Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain and appeared in Nach Baliye season 9 in the year 2019. In the year 2020, she appeared in the web series titled The Casino. From 2020 -22, she portrayed the grey-shaded lead role of Rhea Mehra in the daily soap, Kumkum Bhagya.
